Confusion?
So many times we hear stories of people getting caught up in strange doctrines and beliefs. We look from the outside in and it looks like everyone is right or no one is. But we must look unto the Word of God. Scripture tells us that "confusion is of the Devil". That may sound cliche but that is the bottom line. We are in a warfare for our eternal souls. The Word is spiritually discerned and when we try analyzing with our meager intellect we miss the mark every time. Don't get me wrong God has given us all abilities, some greater than others. But they are still God given abilities. Our limitations are restricted to the realm of this carnal or natural world. The kingdom of God goes beyond this world and into the next, the heavenly. When the disciples were asked by Jesus will you go away also? They replied where will we go for you have the words of eternal life. In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth by the Word. John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. :2 The same was in the beginning with God. :3 All things were made by him, and without him was not anything made that was made. :4 In him was light; and the life was the light of men. :5 And the light shines in darkness and the darkness comprehends it not. Darkness meaning without light. Yet the sun, moon, and stars weren't created until the fourth day in the book of Genesis,(1:19) So what is this light and darkness? I believe the light is wisdom, understanding and order. Darkness on the other hand is the lack of wisdom or understanding, and confusion. So when we see this we recognize that people may get off on the wrong track and may not agree with our beliefs but the hidden foundation of this misguiding is the darkness of this world. Satan is referred to as the principality and the power of the air. This is his fallen world. But Jesus took the keys of death and hell. We have a remedy for the darkness. Jesus said, "I am the light of the world". If we will humbly come before God confess Jesus as the savior of the world and ask him into our hearts. We will have the light of the world. We will find true understanding, and wisdom. It is time for the church of the living God stand up and proclaim the light of this world and shun the confusion. I pray this message blesses you, let me know. Be blessed. Thanks

What is required?

So many Christians today believe that if you go to church regularly and read your bible sometimes then your alright and ready to meet the Lord. I don't want to sound "religious" but the truth of the matter is that there is a little more to it than that. First, we must have had a conversion from sin to the life in Jesus. Another words, asked Jesus into our hearts and truly try each day to walk in his will and not our own. This is being saved by the blood of Jesus. But next we need the spirit of God to keep us. We have to be baptized in the Holy Ghost. We are "begotten by the Word, and born of the spirit". And the Holy Ghost which is the spirit of truth, will lead us and guide us into all truth. We also have to read the Word of God daily as if we were searching for hidden treasure, for that is what it is. Treasure, true riches, spiritual wealth. Jesus said to learn of him. If we study the Word of God we are learning of Jesus. "Low, I come in the volume of the book, it is written of me".So many people today believe if they go half way it is enough. Think about this. What if Jesus while going to offer himself on the cross for our sins only went half way. Would we have salvation through his name? No. There was only one way man could be redeemed. It was by the redeemer, the holy one of God. Jesus his only son. I know that I serve a true and living God, who is not a God afar off, that cannot be touched by the feeling of our infirmities. I know Jesus didn't go part of the way and whimp out. He went the distance and we have redemption in none other. Great is the Lord and greatly to be praise. Our requirements are more than a mere casual worship. How many people do you know that say they believe they might be ready to meet the Lord? If your not sure don't you think we should do everything we can to assure our souls eternal resting place. Where we go after this life is not a casual subject when you look at how much longer eternity is compare to this vapor of a lifespan. Jesus paid an awesome price for our sins. Let's do everything we can to assure our place and then every one around us too. That is what we are called to do. Lift up your voice like a trumpet. Sound the alarm. Make a joyful noise. My intension is not to cause strife or division or even an argument. My purpose is not to scare anyone. But if these words help secure someone's salvation, though all my friend's turn away. I will know in the end that I did what God placed in my heart to do. If these words have encouraged or stirred your soul leave me a comment. Be blessed. Thanks

Our Words
The words we speak can lift up our neighbor or tear them down. We can encourage or discourage. We speak as though we did not have authority. We jest about everything and call it normal. What has happened to us? Has our society taken us to the point that we cannot see who we truly are? Jesus said that the kingdom of God is within us. We know that the power of life and death is in the tongue. So if we speak those things of jest, do we forget that the things we speak are effective, or do we just think it is not that big a deal? I believe we have forgotten who we are. I believe that when we speak defeat or we speak failure we cancel out the blessing. Even your self-help books tell you that if you believe you will fail, then your right. Because you have to believe and speak positive to win. I am not saying "name it and claim it". But I am saying we should realize who we are. If we are born again believers, we have no place in our conversations for negative words. Words of defeat breeds defeat. Words of victory manifests winners. We all have a winning spirit locked inside of us waiting for us to unlock the door and release him. It is released by our attitude, our words, and our faith in God's Word. Let's make our world a better place around us by taking God at his Word. We are wonderfully and fearfully made. Speak the blessing and the victory into your life a be a winner in Jesus. Be blessed. Thanks

Kingdom laws
In the secular world if we break a law we will be tried and if found guilty can be fined or even imprisoned. In the kingdom of heaven there are also laws. There is the law of "faith". "We must first believe that he is God and a rewarder of them that diligently seek him". "Without faith it is impossible to please God". And many other scriptures show us to have faith and without it we cannot receive the things of the kingdom. There is the law of "holiness". Man's version of holiness is sometimes thwarted by his carnal discernment. True holiness has nothing to do with your abilities or inabilities. It has nothing to do with how many scriptures we can quote. Nothing to do with how we dress or don't dress. "Be ye holy, for I am holy" is referring to our reliance on Jesus. Walking in the same mind and attitude as Jesus. The bible says to "put on the Lord Jesus". We have no holiness in ourselves. We have holiness when we lean on him and on his righteousness(right standing before God). There is also the law of "speaking the Word". This law is simple and yet overlooked so often by even the greatest saints. When God framed the heavens and the earth, he used the Word. When Jesus was tempted in the wilderness he spoke the Word. When he healed, spoke in the temple, prayed and everywhere Jesus referred to or spoke the Word. The Word of God is the most powerful tool we have. Some would think it is prayer. But let me tell you this , if we do not use the Word when we pray we are limiting our worship. There is a divine order as there is a secular order. When we line up with the divine order miracles are lining up to transpire, gifts are being manifested, and God's provision for our lives is released. We hold the key to our victory, our healing, our financial breakthroughs, our families deliverance, and so much more if we speak the Word, walk in the Lord Jesus, and have faith. There are other laws such as tithing and our attendance of assemblies, but I will l leave these for the pastors. If we know the Word, we will know his law. Not the law of the letter, but the law of the spirit. I pray this message blesses you and stirs your soul. Leave a comment. Be blessed. Thanks

The one that gave praise
In the gospel of Luke, chapter 17, Jesus was passed by ten leprous men. Diseased and unclean to the touch. According to the Mosaic Law they were to cover their face and cry "Unclean, unclean". In the eyes of a Jew they would be unclean spirtually if they touched one of these with leprosy. They had to feel isolated from the rest of their people. They had to feel oppressed. They were definitely miserable. So that day when they cried unto Jesus to have mercy on them Jesus spoke to them to go and show themselves to the priest. They were all healed. But only one turned and gave glory to God. Only one stopped to worship Jesus. He was made whole from the effects of the disease. Why did the nine others that had went through the same suffering and misery as this fellow, yet turned not to give the God of heaven praise for their healing? Are we that much different today? We have all come out from some measure of sin. Whether we were born and raised in church or came in on our 85th birthday. We are all sinners, saved by grace. Have we gotten so used to the gospel that we have become dull of hearing? Is it only stories to us now? Why do we not turn and give him praise that we can be made whole? Leprosy is a disease. But it is also symbolic of sin. It eats the flesh of the body. Sin eats away at our souls. But the good news is that we are healed in the name of Jesus. If we confess him. But to be made whole let's go on and worship him. I hope this message stirs your soul. Let me know. Be blessed. Thanks

Speak the Word!
In life we are faced with situations everyday that requires a decision on how we will respond. For example, if we hear of someone's failure, we can say they didn't try hard enough, or, it wasn't God's will , or This just isn't the time. Every answer could fit, but what is the right answer? If we say we stand on the Word of God, then let's stand on it. We can use the Word as a means of last resort or use it casually. But the Word of God is the most powerful resource in the universe. If God be for us, who can stand against us? When faced with an issue of sickness, we can rely on the doctors of this world and we might get help, but the true physician is Jesus the son of the Highest. Whether we or our brother fail or we have a sickness we are dealing with or one of our neighbors is coming against us. We can rely on nothing greater than the Word of God. When we speak the Word by the spirit, for the words Jesus spoke were spirit and life, all our troubles crumble. Storms cease, winds go lay down and hide, mountains tremble, their will follow a great calm, and every problem and circumstance has to bow to the Word. For by the Word the world was formed. By the Word all things were created. By him ( Jesus ) and for Him were they created by the Word. If we are trying to over our battles simply by say "I believe God is going to move" and we ourselves not use the Word. We are fighting a battle partly in the flesh. Because standing on the Word and shaking of every effort of our own to fight takes real faith and it takes the spirit of God in us. So if we are fighting the enemy of our souls. That could be through your children, your neighbors, your church, your classmates, your co-workers, your finances, your health, or even or own sanity. The enemy is out to defeat you by what ever means he can. We have to be wise to his devises. If we stay read up in the Word of God and pray in the spirit we can ask what we will and God will move for us. Let's no longer fight the enemy with our own abilities but lets use the Word of God. Speak the Word to that mountain of bills. Speak the Word to that mountain of circumstance. Speak the Word and watch the Lord move. Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Speak the Word and be blessed.Thanks.

What is heresy?
In the early church when religion mixed with politics, power and false dignity blinded some to truth in the Word. Anyone living, telling, teaching, or even acting like they would preach in this way, were taken and tried for heresy. Or, to put it in laymens terms. They were tried for not believing like they did. Some had chosen a simpler way that didn't require much of them. But then there were the true and the genuine children of God. They knew it would cost their opinion, their honor, their popularity, or even their lives. But that didn't matter because they were following the example of Jesus. They knew their reward was waiting for them on the other side of glory. Thank God for believers that kept the faith down through the years, despite the cries of "Heresy!". Heresy derives from a Greek word meaning to take, or to hold. It is speaking of holding false ideas about a religion. Or, unorthodox, or , wrong opinion. The church has always had those that would be liberal and did not want anyone else to be less liberal. It would make their sin or liberality look bad. The light would be on them. So there have always been naysayers, people that would disagree just because they didn't want anyone to see their lack of discernment. Heresy is still alive in the fabric of our world today. There are those that could not stand for prayer to be in school, or the ten commandments, then there is the issue of who has rights and who doesn't. It is all political but it has an underline spiritual side, unseen at first glance. But if the eye would behold the hidden agenda and the marks of ones heart. We would find the true heresy. Our churches are being bombarded by propaganda, and lies. Our Senate is no longer run by a God fearing committee. Our society as a whole is plunging deeper into sin. As the days get darker, spiritually, we need more people to stand up and say enough is enough. We want our schools back. We want our cities back. We want our government back. One person could not do it, but one person at a time can. And we will. Join me. Leave your opinion. Let me know what you think. Pass it on. Be blessed. Thanks

Purpose
Why did Elijah (I Kings 18) speak against the false prophets so boldly, then flee for his life and wish he hadn't been born when one woman, Jezebel, threatened his life? The answer is...purpose...Well, let me explain what I mean. A God given purpose in our heart against any extreme can be overcome without fear, and when it is our purpose the boldness isn't so brilliant. Elijah's God given purpose to bring down the prophets of Baal gave him supernatural faith, boldness, and fierceness. But when it came to Jezebel his purpose from the Lord had changed. God was taking him a different direction. We all have a God given purpose even if we don't know it. Finding that purpose requires doing what his Word says to do, feed the hungry, visit the fatherless and widows, etc., or at least give into those things until we find something in the work of the lord that really moves us. A sure way to know what your purpose is would be if your concerned about a certain thing not done or not done enough. Maybe that thing is your purpose. God truly has a purpose for everyone of us. Our weaknesses won't stop it. Our lack of ability won't stop it. Even our lack of faith. We still have a purpose. If you can find your purpose you will find a joy like you've never known and true peace. Great men and woman all through history have fled at small things and stood in the great adversities because they found their purpose. I pray everyone that reads this message understands what the spirit is saying to his people. Find your purpose. And be blessed in the favor of the Lord. Please, leave a comment to let me know your thoughts on purpose. Thanks

Offence?
When Jesus spoke to his disciples of his suffering that would come, Peter said "Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee. Matthew 16:22. The next verse Jesus tells Peter " Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men." First of all Peter did not understand the reason Jesus had come in the first place. That separation man had from God, he was the remedy. He was and is our redeemer. Praise God! But Peter did not see this yet and wanted to protect and keep him from this. Note the mind of man thinks in a way so contrary to the spirit we have to be on our prayer bones continually to relate to the message and receive. Jesus had to go to the cross. He had to suffer for our sins. There was no other way. There was not and never will be a sacrifice great enough to take our sin out of the way, except for the Son of God. Jesus walk on earth in a flesh body but a God spirit. He suffered cold and hunger just as we do. The bible says that he was tempted at all point as we are. He is not a God that cannot be touched by the feeling of our infirmities. So with the mind of God he knew what sufferings he would go through. The bible says that he was the Lamb, slain from the foundation of the world. Revelation 13:8. So knowing this and feeling what we would feel then the thought of the cross and all that would go with that suffering would be a scary thing. With the authority of all the host of heaven he could have wiped everything clean and started over. At least that is the way we would more than likely feel. When Peter spoke what he did Jesus' response was, he said "get the behind me". The greek words used speak of sinking out of sight. Then he referred to him as "Satan". Which is the adversary to man. Then he said "thou art an offence". This word offence used here is where we get the word scandal. It's meaning here speaks of a trap stick or to bend a sapling. Implying to trick into sin or cause someone the fall. The next word is the word savourest meaning exercise the mind or entertaining thoughts. Jesus was telling Peter that he did not think on the level he was thinking, what he was saying might cause others to back off from their purpose. Words are important to us all. We can encourage or we can choose to make people afraid with our words. We need to pray without ceasing, search the scriptures, and all of us turn from our way and follow Jesus. My prayer is that the Lord help me not to offend. Not to cause someone else to fall or stumble or even quit. I hope that is your prayer and I pray this message blesses you. Leave a comment . Thanks

True Wealth
It is so common today to think of someone with plenty of money to be what we categorize as "wealthy". But let's think on this for a minute. How many wealthy people have you heard of, as millionaires, politicians, movies stars, and even athletic "heroes", go through the same things that we go through? They get divorced, they have drug issues, they have conflicts just as everyone else does. So then what would true wealth be? They have the money and the fame, but how few find real genuine joy? How few are truly happy? How few are set for eternity? I believe that true wealth is not having so much money you can't count it all. Though there is nothing wrong with having money. The bible tells us that it is the love of money that is the root of all evil, not the money itself. So our attitude means a lot. If we search the Word of God we can find the answer. "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest" Matthew 11:28. What does Jesus mean by "heavy laden"? Or what about labour? Or rest? Firstly, the word labour is the greek word "kop-ee-ah-o" meaning to toil,be wearied, to feel fatigue. Anyone feel fatigued lately? the next word is "for-tid'-zo" which is heavy burden and the meaning is overburdened, spiritual anxiety. How about anxiety, has anyone suffered in overburdening yourselves? Now the last word rest the greek word speaks of being at ease or inthe nutshell , exempt. Exempt from what, you might ask? Well he was speaking of being worn from toiling and working, overburdening ourselves and then speaks about a rest or and exemption from these toils and worries. The next scripture vs :29 says "Take my yoke upon you and learn of me, for I am meek and lowly inheart, and ye shall find rest for your souls. vs :30 for my yoke is easy and my burden is light. Jesus wants to take our burden. When we give our hearts to God and truly get "saved", I mean truly repent of your sins and come clean before our maker. Then Jesus will take your worry and give you joy. He will take your burden and give you rest. Jesus came to unite the creation back to the creator. He came to put away sin. If we will search in the scripture and seek God in with our heart we will find what true, genuine wealth is. I pray these few words from a fellow servant of God blesses you, and I ask that you leave a comment or a prayer request. Be Blessed in the Lord. Thanks

The Cross
So many things have been written and spoken about the cross and the sacrifice of the Son of God. But I believe the true focus should be on the why. Why did he come to this sinful world and go through such a horrid, and painful death. The answer is simple and yet uncomprehensive, it is God's love for his creation. That's it. But let's look a little further. Why did we need the sacrifice? If you go all the way back to the creation and read where man fell in the garden, you'll see that man had plunged from a relationship with God to separation from God. Since that time men have touched or felt the presence of God but the relationship was severed. God is holy and cannot look on sin. When we realize that God loved us so much that he came in the likeness of that sinful creation and offered himself as the supreme sacrifice that we could have true follwship with God in Jesus. It is so uncomprehensive that love can be that powerful and the sin in us is that evil. The bible says that our righteousnesses is as filthy rags (Isaiah 64:6). We could never have a relationship with God again until there was a sacrifice worthy of the payment for sin. There was no sacrificew worthy except for God himself. He prepared himself a body (hebrews 10:5) that he might come and give himself. Thank you Jesus. Help us all to comprehend and embrace your love and walk in the righteousness that you made obtainable through the death, burial, and ressurection. I hope this handful of words encourages you, leave a comment or a pprayer request. Thanks. Be blessed
The Favor of God
If there is anything we need in the times we are living in now it is God’s kingdom favor. Whether we think we can weasel through the stockmarket or we have some great idea that we believe can’t fail. Or if we have all the prestige, honor, and influence that we don’t think that we need anything else. We think we have it all in control. But no matter who we are or what have or do,we all need the favor of heaven to shine in our lives. That’s what kingdom favor is. Grace is unmerited favor. Benefits we receive from God that we didn’t and couldn’t earn. It is simply a gift from heaven for those who will believe in the Word of God, and obey.If we take the words that were inspired by the very spirit of the creator of all life, and rightly divide( interpret ) then obey, we can ask what we will and God will confirm His Word even with signs if our faith will stretch that far. Now the bible says that faith is the substance of things hoped for, and the evidence of things not seen. Obedience goes a long way in the walk to kingdom favor. But here is another prerequisite to dynamic kingdom favor, that is faith. If it is the substance of things hoped for, then it is our tangible proof, our faith. And it is the evidence of things not seen. If we already see what we are hoping for it requires no faith. But if that that we hope for and believe for is completely out of site and even seemingly impossible. That is our evidence that it will come. One minister said it like this “Can you see it,before you get it?” That is something to ponder on. Can we except what God said, not by what we see around us, but by faith that He will never leave us and never forsake us? Let me know what you think. Be blessed!

The Angry crowd
Jesus died for our sin. He suffered horribly at the hands of the angry crowd. Why were they so angry? Because Jesus came preaching and teaching a way that they knew nothing about. It was a way called mercy, love, and forgiveness. There religious comfort zone would not let them see beyond there own agenda. The message contradicted everything about what they thought. So they were angry. So angry if fact that they could see nothing else. Are we so different today with our ideas of how church should be ordered? If Jesus were to come to our churches, would we recognize Him? Let all of us examine ourselves and find the keys, that will unlock kingdom favor. Let me know what you think. Be blessed
